Fishing Divisions
A $3000 cash award and trophy for first place, $1500 and trophy for second place and $1000 for third place will be given out to winners of the following divisions:
- Mako - 6 foot total length minimum
- Open* - 6 foot total length minimum
- Release** - est. 50 lb. minimum
- Bluefish - legal minimum
Open division includes all sharks other than tigers, makos, sandbars, duskies, great whites, sandtigers, and all sharks listed on the NMFS Prohibited Species List.
No minimum size to receive release points on tigers, makos, , threshers, great whites and sandtigers.
